Nicole is a professionally trained doula (Ontario Perinatal School and Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association - Canada) and childbirth educator (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association - Canada). She continues to attend workshops to increase her knowledge base and practice her skills. Nicole has also completed training in breastfeeding support and currently provides breastfeeding counselling to many families in Toronto.

She has her BA (honours) in Psychology from York University. Her degree had a focus on infant, child, and adolescent development. Nicole is currently completing a certificate in counselling women from Athabasca University.

Nicole is married to her supportive partner, Jamie. Together they have a daughter who keeps their lives filled with fun and laughter. She is fluent in English and French; she is also conversational in American Sign Language.
